"Very clean, up to date and stylish room! Easy access off I-95. Spacious with more than I needed for an overnight stay. Receptionist, Shelby was delightful on the phone when I called to reserve a room and even more delightful at check in. The hotel allowed my 70lb dog. I would stay here again."

"There isn’t a star low enough to rate this property. We travel for work and have frequent hotel stays. This has been the worst week of our hotel experiences ever. No hot water, we’ve been told the boiler is broke. The compressor in the unit not functioning as well. We were asked to switch rooms and when we did the door lock was broke on that room. The front desk had to let us in our room each trip for 24 hours. I demanded to speak to the GM Cheryl who doesn’t even have the audacity to call us back to speak regarding the issues. On day 5 here and still no hot water. The ONLY positive to this property is the bartender! ….Still miserable in VA! Don’t stay here!!!!"

"This is an excellent choice for staying in the Petersburg area. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The exercise room is well equipped and well taken care of, as is the whole hotel. The breakfast was exception. Right off of I-95, so very easy to access. Highly recommend."

"The hotel and rooms were really nice! The beds and pillows are extremely comfy and the suites have everything you need. My ONLY complaint is the shower area. While the water pressure and overall size of the shower are great, the glass shower door is just too short- it could have used a couple more inches to keep water in and to make you feel like you aren’t standing in the middle of the bathroom floor. Also, the bench on the end should probably be bigger for it to be truly accessible, because the shower is big enough for a bigger bench (if that’s what it’s even supposed to be). This is also just a cosmetic preference, but the wallpaper in the rooms is outdated for being a new hotel. While cute, it’s just an odd design choice. I am still giving 5 stars because it’s a great hotel with a lot of potential being new! Will stay here again"

"Stayed here because it said it was pet friendly. There were no specific spot for my dogs to go. I found in the back of the building a little grass area for my two big dogs. Nothing in the room for the dogs like bowls or a bed like other hotels I’ve stayed at. Room was nice had a kitchen area and updated but the placement of the bed was weird. Went for breakfast at 8am and there was nothing there but cereal a little disappointed. Room for improvement but otherwise a good spot for the night."
