Comfort Inn South Chesterfield - Colonial Heights

"The hotel room was clean. As with most hotels it could stand a few upgrades or a little touch up. There were marks on the wall where it looks like something it hit it and chipped away some of the paint and there were some cosmetic things in the bathroom but I wouldn't not stay there because of those small issues. However, I would not stay there again due to the noise. The hotel is sandwiched between a McDonald's and a gas station and there are train tracks very close to the back of the building. If you are a light sleeper this is definitely not the hotel for you. The first night I didn't get maybe 3 hours of sleep, due to the train, road noise, and I could hear people stomping around on my head from the floor above me. I did have a first-floor room. Check-in was fairly easy, but I had to wait close to 10 minutes for someone to show up at the desk so that I could check out. Breakfast was decent. They had the mini waffle maker, eggs, sausage, toast, four different types of cereal, fruit and yogurt available. Overall it was a decent stay just not for someone who is a light sleeper."

"We only stopped for one night. The cozy room. Super clean bathroom. A complete breakfast, for all tastes. I recommend."

"I really liked this hotel. We were traveling with a baby and the tub was so clean I could give him a bath. The cleaning staff were very kind and everything was so clean. They actually clean the rooms and give you new towels every night. Thank you!!"

"From checkin thru checkout, all employees were helpful and always greeted guests with a smile. I’m recommending it to others in my company. The facilities were perfect, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again."

"The positives: The housekeeping staff is excellent. The room was very clean. We were given a handicap room which while it was spacious seemed unnecessary as we aren't handicapped. They do serve breakfast. It is close to a McDonald's and a 7/11. The negatives: The views are terrible. We looked directly at the McDonald's drive through. The a/c was startlingly loud. If you aren't disabled I would try to get a different room as the shower had a seat, and the shower head was at shoulder level for my husband.(The water did get nice and hot though.) The bed was comfortable, but they have small, square pillows. The front staff said they would call us back when we had a question and never got back to us. Overall, if there's not a better place to stay, this place is at least clean thanks to their great housekeepers. We won't be returning though."
