"Always a lovely stay at The Quirk! What always immediately stands out to me is the friendly and accommodating nature of all staff members that interacted w. From Valet, to Front Desk, and Bar Service, the Quirk Team is consistently kind, attentive, and helpful, regardless of how busy they are. And it was a busy when I checked in and out. In terms of the room, the beds are comfortable and the space is always very clean and well maintained. I had a nice room overlooking the Courtyard, which is a lovely private event space. This visit was also in December, during the height of holiday season, and the beautiful, modern, and festive decor was so joyful and fun, making entertaining the guests I had made the trip to meet that much more special. We had reservations at “Evergreen” at Birdies, right down the street, making this a convenient place for me to stay. The Quirk Gallery is also always a special place to stop into during your visit, and on this trip I got lucky enough to experience their Holiday Pop Up - fantastic! I do understand that certain items have been removed from the rooms due to COVID, but it would be really nice to have a small mini bar, or the ability to request beverage to your room after the bar downstairs has closed. Esp. on a Saturday night during the height of Holiday Season. I do understand, esp. from a safety perspective, as well as for staff and patrons leaving at night. I do think that guests staying at the hotel would love and take advantage of any extended F&B service once they return to their rooms, as small as it might be. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, once again, and very much look for award to returning soon!"

"We had our daughter's wedding at Quirk Hotel Richmond. Planning started a year before the DAY and it was a joy to work with Liz and Rachel. They made sure all details were perfect along with our wonderful wedding planner, Belle Beauty Events of Richmond, VA. Lindsay Mack Photography was our incredibly talented photographer. The ceremony was on the Rooftop and the reception was in the Courtyard and adjoining Loft 209 room. Every detail was perfect. The FOOD was absolutely delicious. The staff that served was kind and efficient! I can't recommend Quirk Hotel Richmond highly enough!!"

"Loved my stay here! The hotel is very grand, clean, historic and beautiful. It’s modern but kept the historic charm. The downstairs bar is great for cocktails, too! I even needed to check in a little early because I was going to a wedding that evening and they were able to accommodate."

"We stayed at the Quirk Richmond after our wedding for our wedding night. It’s such a cute hotel and around the holidays- gorgeous. The pink tree and theme is a real nice touch. The front staff was very helpful and brought us champagne for our wedding. However, the location makes it hard for parking and they had limited valet. Additionally, the rooms weren’t as fancy as I had expected, but the coffee was good and the bed comfortable!"

"I stayed here for two separate nights and the first night was good. Room was very clean when I arrived and quite spacious. Employees were attentive and very helpful for any questions I had. The roof top bar is also pretty cool, food options on the roof could be better though. The second night here went down hill...Arrived in my new room that was maybe half the size of the first room for the same price. The amount of dust on the mirror in the bathroom was honestly impressive. There was hair left in the shower and on the shampoo bottles. The room was overall not very clean so I decided to get out of there and grab some food for dinner in the lobby. It took almost 20 minutes for a waiter to even approach my table even though only two other tables were sat at the time. The food looked amazing but the pasta was cold throughout which was disappointing. Went back to my room to try and get some sleep but for some reason, management thought it was a great idea to host a party on Sunday night in the courtyard which of course was right below my window. Couldn't sleep for 3 hours because of the courtyard being so loud and had a very early flight to catch. Overall, would not recommend staying here as the service is inconsistent and leaves little to be desired."
