"Spent 2 nights here recently and I really enjoyed my stay. Comfy, cozy room with nice beds. The location is great. Bunch of good resturants to walk to for breakfast and dinner. There is only valet parking so plan that. Will be back when staying in the downtown area again!"

"We stayed 3 nights as a family of four. The rooms were large, service was great and the hotel is in a good location. There are restaurants that are walkable. The parking is valet only. There's a restaurant downstairs but also several coffee shops in the area."

"Our overall experience was okay, but I don’t think it was a good value overall. The service was great. Being contacted before our stay via email asking if we had any questions or special requests was nice. I reached out to the hotel in advance to check if I could park before check-in and they said that was fine. This was nice because it saved us money on parking in a different location and then having to move our car to the hotel and pay for the valet parking there. The service when we arrived at the hotel was great and the lobby was very nice. The cons. The elevators are very small and slow. They comfortably fit two people with one bag each, you could squeeze more. The hallway outside of our room looked like it hadn’t been maintained very well. A lot of the paint was scratched and chipped and the floors were dirty. While this doesn’t affect my stay directly, it sets the ambience before walking into your room. The sleeping area in the room was good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, wasn’t great. The floors were dirty, it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned and there was a lot of grime/mold in the corners near the shower. The shower’s faucet handle was very loose, and the water pressure was really bad. It would fluctuate between low pressure and very low pressure and go from hot to cold every couple of seconds. There also weren’t any rods, racks, or hooks to hang your towels on. You could tell there used to be a hook on the back of the door, but it was long gone. Regarding towels, one of the towels had hairs embedded into it. The best way to describe the room is that it was once a nice room, but thorough cleaning and basic maintenance has been lacking for some time. The staff was great, but they can't make up for the general disrepair of the facility."

"PHENOMENAL hotel! The location is perfect-- walking distance from everything. Rooms were well appointed, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The restaurant was lovely, a limited menu but well prepared. The staff were AMAZING-- so kind, genuinely warm and friendly. I can not say enough good things about The Commonwealth!"

"This Hotel is amazing! The location is wonderful! The suite was clean, modern and spacious! The hotel staff was absolutely amazing. They were all so friendly and welcoming! We didn’t get the name of the manager but she was a rockstar! The whole valet team was amazing, but Kenny took care of us the most and he was great! 10/10 would recommend!"
