Maverick Learning Center for Autistic Children is a unique educational institution located at 935 First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened on March 15th, offering classes for kindergarten through sixth grade. We invite families to attend our Open House to meet our dedicated teachers and see our one-of-a-kind school in person.

Our mission at Maverick Learning Center is to provide a safe and effective learning environment for students on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays. We aim to protect their self-esteem and confidence while offering a personalized educational experience. Our goal is to create a sense of community and a safe place for all our maverick students and their families.

At Maverick Learning Center, we offer inclusive small group tutoring for ASD homeschooled children in Virginia Beach. Our educators are experts in special education and are passionate about understanding each student's unique needs. They bring this enthusiasm into their lessons to ensure a positive learning experience.

Our sensory-friendly classrooms are designed to improve the neurodivergent learning experience for our exceptional students. The curriculum at MLC is tailored to each student, with a focus on literacy and math. Our goal is for students to learn at their own pace and achieve mastery in subjects based on their individual skill level.
