"Fun ride into the past. Not very scenic but a good way to experience history on a 1905 train. If you are a railroad buff it's a requirement!"
"Went for the Christmas train ride. The kids liked it. It was not what I expected. The staff was great, super friendly, and by far the best part of the whole experience. It was just a little disappointing. We got juice boxes instead of hot chocolate. The train went 35 minutes down the tracks, then stopped and went back the same way 35 minutes. The train was old and reminded me of being inside of an old school bus that had been decorated from the dollar tree 10 years ago. I would not go again, but the kids had fun with the fake snowball fight, so that's all that really matters. If it was closer to my house, then it might not have been so bad."
"My family and I took the Cass Christmas Train ride. It was great. They kept the kids busy. The kids were very happy. The kids enjoyed their visit with Mr and Mrs Clause in the Cass Company Store."
"Was Husband's birthday, and he wanted to take a train ride. So he booked us on the Bald Knob ride. Engine 11. Yesterday. To say flippin outrageously awesome is understating how much fun and enjoyment we had. The 4.5 hr trip was gorgeous, chilly, but overwhelmed with nature's beauty, which made you forget the cold. I highly recommend you take this experience. They offer different rides on historical trains, so something to choose to suit your desired experience. Word of awareness this time of year dress in layers and bring a blanket. Mittens and hat if taking the open cars trip. Ours was open, and I was very glad I wore layers. We got a bagged lunch as we boarded, and it truly was satisfying. I can't say how much this was worth the trip to and the price for the ride. During these financial times, I know or isn't easy, but sometimes you deserve to breathe and enjoy the beautiful life God gave."
"It was so wonderful to see the fall colors. Beautiful experience. You can take your own cooler, any type drinks! And they provide lunch. We really enjoyed this trip. We took the 4.5 hr trip, the foliage was spectacular. Our 1st time & such a pleasurable day. Dress very warm & take blankets for this time of year. It snowed!! The train whistle is just fantastic! Looking forward to going again."
