"Yes. I' have had to wait. Yes, I've been upset a couple of times. But they have always taken good care of me, which I truly appreciate."
"Ive been waiting almost 3 months just for someone to call me back about an orthopedic appointment, after having 3 knee procedures in which the 3rd came with a bone graft I'm still having pain. When i called them numerous times, I was told my referral was waiting for approval. I cant go to a civilian doctor until I see my primary care which is late December. These VA hospitals make me regret serving do to their lack of commitment to taking care of veterans. Everyday my knee is swollen, and it makes it difficult to keep working. I can barely jog/run, I have pain when pivoting, I can barely take my socks and shoes off without feeling pain. Im pretty sure my ACL is damaged again, and from the looks of it I'm stuck with this situation until my late appointment."
"The best VA hospital I've ever been too!! They saved my life, more than once! Professional staff! I've had bad days there, but the good days far outnumber the bad!"
"They NEVER answer the phone in the PIV department Building 500 rm 16-222. You can call as soon as they open and repeatedly throughout the day and they still will not pick up the phone. Very unprofessional and highly unethical behavior for a government entity to waste resources by avoiding the most basic aspects of the job like answering the phone. I don’t know who oversees the department but they should probably investigate why when trying to reach someone at x3113 there are never any responses."
"I have taken notice that when I call it takes me to message. It's hard to reach clinics or areas I am trying to reach. When I come to the VA I notice so many employees on cell phones, stand around the eatery and talking, when there is people talking you can't help but heat them talking and cussing. It really looks bad to see so many employees just standing around and then wonder why I can never get an answer when I call."
