"Had my baby shower at the Virginia Cliffe Inn a couple weeks back and had a fantastic experience. Janice and her staff were more than accommodating and the event went so smoothly. The facility is beautiful and it was decorated nicely for the holidays which went with my baby shower theme. Would highly recommend!"

"Went to an afternoon tea where our leader had made a reservation for 9 ladies. Since I arrived last, I was expected to sit with other diners at a separate table from our group. Nice food, beautiful home, just know that tea service is set up for groups of 4 per table even if you have paid for your reservation over a month ahead. Tables should have been set for the exact number in the party since our reservation was made and a sizeable deposit was paid well ahead of time."

"Janice has created a beautiful and welcoming place for anyone. The venue itself is stunning. Breathtaking at Christmas especially! The Room was clean and comfortable. Very spacious and the breakfast we were served was fantastic! My now wife and I got married here and although some hiccups during the ceremony and reception- Janice made sure to make it right! My best advice for anyone getting married here is to communicate EVERYTHING you want very clearly both by email AND phone- to avoid anything being missed or miscommunicated! Overall we loved our time here and look forward to coming back!"

"My room was very charming, beautiful, comfortable, and clean. I loved my stay there. The breakfast was also delicious, with lots of options. They care about the details at the Virginia Cliffe Inn, from the decoration to the dishes to the customer service. They were very friendly. The property was easy to find and gorgeous. Ask about the swans, Romeo and Juliet, when you are there!"

"Virginia Cliffe Inn made our wedding very special by providing a beautiful space for it to take place. When we first toured the Inn we were very pleased with the affordable price, the space, and that there was lodging available for the night of our wedding. Although we were very pleased with the space provided, there were some things that left us feeling unsatisfied. Getting closer to our wedding we noticed that communication was getting a lot more complicated with the staff at the inn. We found it very hard to get questions answered and make payments outside of our work hours. I just want to point out that every single thing cost something. We noticed that less than 30 days out from our wedding that we would have to add time to get to the venue before 3pm for a 4:30 wedding, we had to pay to leave some of our decor and wedding party attire at the venue the night of the rehearsal, and we had to pay for our vendors to come back the next day to pick up the rental items. We felt that the affordable price that it seemed to be was beginning to compare to the cost of a lot of other local venues that we turned away from to save money. On the day of the wedding, after paying the extra costs for everything, we were not given access to the room connected to the bridal suite that we had paid for beforehand so that we could have access when we arrived. It took a few people to figure it out before they were willing to open the door for us. I believe this had to do with the fact that it was so hard to communicate with them efficiently. I often felt like I was misunderstood when communicating with them. This venue was beautiful and our first glimpse of it was absolutely perfect. It would definitely serve as a great venue to anybody, but I hope this gives some insight on what it may be like once working with them."
