Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn

"There are a few all time classic hotels in this planet that you must see and stay at list one's in your live...One of them is this hotel.it have the atmosphere of a big house but it's a hotel.. The staff is amazing and they make you feel comfortable.If you rent one of the big apartments is like you have a small home with Hotel facilities..."

"Second time there and worse experience than the first. Attempted to call in reservation and the booking agent Jessica wanted to add on 60+ dollars in taxes. Used Priceline for a much better deal only for clerk at desk to tack on another $30 for a pet fee. Still saved $20. Bathroom was gross with finger streaks down the side of the wall amongst others things. Not worth the money and not clean. Never again"

"Stayed there night if the third, second floor in the back of the hotel. More amenities than I have in my own house. lol at the tub not emptying, it’s so people with lots of hair don’t clog the drain. You just have to to twist the knob 1/4 turn and it stays up. Biggest deal? Parking with adequate lighting and cameras. An iron with an ironing board, an alarm clock with a nifty sound alarm, not something you can get at Walmart. Breakfast with tasty Greek yogurt and a Nescafé self brewing cappuccino machine. The room also had citrus aromatherapy lotion and its was a nice change from the musk and lotion I usually use. I’d stay here again. I got what I wanted out of it, it was close to i95 and the guy at night and his colleague in the am were nice and efficient in getting me in and out."

"When we got there, the employee, a young man, put up a sign to say he was away from the desk. He was sitting in the dining area with what looked like either his girlfriend or a family member talking to them. He saw us and just stayed there for about 10 minutes letting us wait after a 14 hour drive. When he came to the desk finally, he checked us in, but apperently put incidentals on our room for no reason and didn't tell us (there's no mini-bar and we didn't ask for anything extra). The room we were assigned smelled terribly like weed, like someone had just hot-boxed it (room 201 btw, in case anyone wants to check that out, we reported it to the same staff member, but I don't know if he reported it). We came back down and he switched us rooms (btw he was back in the dining area with the away sign still up, in case anyone thought he was on break earlier). The new one was musty like other reviews have said, but that was fine in comparison. When we checked out the next day the guy checking us out was much better, he saw the incidentals which had been put at check-in, informed us of them and took them off noting he had no idea why they were there. We had family members renting a different room who experienced the same thing when they asked for a receipt at checkout. We stayed at a different best western on this trip for the same money, that had nicer rooms that weren't musty, with very good service, and a much better breakfast, and there wasn't an attempt to charge us extra for no reason. This best western was not up to par in comparison."

"Is it the nicest hotel, no, but it was clean, roomy, and affordable, yep. Pet friendly and free breakfast was a plus. The bathroom door didn't close properly, but that wasn't a make or break for me. If there were water bottles in the room, it would have been perfect."
