"This company is terrible. I received a bill in the mail 9 months after my daughter was seen at an urgent care clinic. Genetworx first claimed the urgent care clinic did not send my insurance information to them. After handling the insurance myself, I found out they are out of network and I would have to pay the bill myself. They were "unable" to provide me with a paid invoice receipt or itemized bill because there was a "glitch in their computer system." I called multiple times, emailed, requested to speak to a supervisor. Finally got a receipt over a week after paying the bill. NEVER deal with this company. Such a scam!"
"They submitted a bill to me for a service over a year ago for the first time and claimed my urgent care didn’t provide them with my insurance. This is the worst company. Stay far away."
"Terrible company. Just like all the other reviews we are getting billed $4800 two years later for Covid test that they claim they didn’t get reimbursed for. however, this is the first we are hearing of half of the invoices. They did send us one invoice in October of 2021 but refused to itemize what the charges were for and I never heard back from them. We have reached out numerous times to the billing department and can never get an answer. I would never recommend using this company for any Covid tests or any other lab tests. Completely unprofessional."
"Just received an EOB from my health insurance company that this company submitted a claim for what I think was a Covid test in LATE 2020. Insurer denied payment because claim was submitted too late-July 2022! They also sent me one of those odd letters telling me to endorse the check from the insurance over to them. I plan to report to the National Covid Fraud line and my state attorney general fraud line if they try to bill me for something that they should have submitted almost two years ago. My health insurance company tried calling about this and there was no answer on the number provided. Sounds sketchy."
"I got a free covid test done on September 26th and this company was the one provided. Now there is almost $1000 in charges on my insurance from this company over a month later (in November)(Not all of which are for covid testing I might add). Then today (December 18th) I received a letter in the mail saying "we submitted a claim to your insurance on your behalf" and "Your BCBS insurance policy will pay you directly for our services. You are required to forward the payment directly to us." I have received no check in the mail, and why would they not deal with the insurance directly in the first place. Now I have charges for what I was told was a free covid test but because this company wants to make money and false claims I am left to pay. No one is answering my phone calls on the number provided. This company has wasted too much of my time. It is very rude and unprofessional."
