"I visited Dr. Majd Babik first time on 10-25-22 for a regular visit and assessment of my teeth and gums. He took a X-rays of all my teeth (charged me $247.00 for the visit) and told me that I had infection in my two lower support teeth in the front. Since, I did not have any sign of infection (I still do not have any infection in the same two lower teeth that Dr. Babik told me that I had infection on 10-25-22) I was puzzled. According to him I needed Root Canals in both the support teeth which are acting as support for the bridge. I asked him if he was one hundred percent sure that I had an infection in both support teeth. He told me that he could not be sure from X-rays. When I pressed him for confirmation, since to me it was a serious matter, he told me to have CT scan for confirmation. I asked him that whether the CT scan results will be conclusive. He told me "YES" it will be conclusive. After thinking about it for a little while and waiting to see if infection will show-up, I went back to his office on 11-14-22. The dental assistant took the CT scan. I was charged $302.10 for the CT scan. When I asked for the results of CT scan, I was told that after reading my CT scan, Dr. Babik will call me in a couple of days. Its been more than six weeks since my CT scan. I have yet to hear from Dr. Babik for the results of CT scan. In the mean time, I have called his practice almost six or more times. Each time the receptionist's answer is "I will tell Dr. Babik that you called. We will get back to you as soon as possible". I STILL HAVE NO SIGN OF INFECTION THAT DR. BABIK TOLD ME THAT I HAD. I am so disappointed with this dentist and his un-ethical practice that I am thinking to file a complaint with dental board. I have never seen such a flagrant violation of license before by a licensed practitioner."
