"My daughter has been at Soul Aerial for 2 years now. After her second year in the Alice in Wonderland Production at Dominion Energy Center, she is more excited about her upcoming third years than her first day walking thru their doors. Everyday/every year at Soul brings a whole new level of experience, confidence, skill and thrill that she could not only perform during their show, recitals but that is important for the development of a child. Soul is more than just dance studio. At 9 years old, my daughter was putting together a resumé(of course with my assistance), auditioning, interviews, Choreograph a piece for an audition for their show. She’s also more aware of time management, discipline and punctuality then the average kid her age. Also! Lol A year and a half before joining Soul Aerial, I took my daughter to see Swan Lawn at Dominion Energy Center. After that production, she told “Mommy, i wish to dance on that stage!” I told her if she continued training, maybe one day when she was older she will perform on that stage. So in a little more than a year later, she achieved her goal and im so grateful for Soul/Ms Flynn for helping my daughter to accomplish that priceless goal."

"Soul Aerial is brilliant! Their cirque adaptation of Alice in Wonderland was whimsical, captivating, and full of so much talent! Every detail was carefully crafted - from the choreography to the musical score, from the acting to the costumes. We loved how each scene brings something new, and the aerial styling of each performer was unique to their particular character! These young artists are simply fabulous."

"On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, SOUL Aerial serves up a tiramisu experience. SOUL Aerial is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall of shops. While their ceilings are not super high, aerialists are able to train a number of tricks and apparatus. Rigging felt safe, and I love the reception that I received as a visitor from the online exchange to my in-person arrival. I trained at an open gym, and I attended a Lyra II class that was taught by a sub. I appreciated that the class focused on drilling difficult tricks, and when I asked the teacher for a progression, she offered me one that was accessible to where I am training. Everyone in the class was so welcoming, and I enjoyed my visit immensely."

"I have been a member at Soul for just over a year now, taking adult classes twice a week, and was a dancer for years growing up. I can confidently say that Soul is THE best studio I have stepped foot in. You immediately feel the warmth and quite literally- the soul, that Flynn has put into her studio. It translates into the type of clientele/regulars that are attracted to the studio. The people I've met here are now some of my best friends, and what I once was so nervous to join in on, now keeps me going through a tough work week. If you are considering taking a class here- do it. You will be welcomed by the most friendly group around. Flynn is SO responsive to our needs (be it billing, cancellations, inclement weather updates) I often wonder how she manages it all. The instructors are all so welcoming, talented, diverse in skill, and helpful. I've progressed in my pole journey more than I thought possible. So thankful I've found Soul!"
