I admit that I had little confidence that Jim could repair the break without the “patch” being obvious, and honestly, that wouldn’t have been acceptable to me; the furniture was too expensive to not be “perfect”. "I'm generally not one to write reviews. But I have got to commend Jim for the fantastic work he did at repairing my rocking chair that has been in my family for 100 years. My son will be the fourth generation to be able to enjoy this chair because of Jim's work. The veneer he had to replace blended perfectly with the existing surface and the repair to the crack in the support frame has made the chair so much more stronger.
