"Spend your money elsewhere OLD PRODUCTS BEING SOLD TO CONSUMERS. I purchased E’tae hair products from this location. The Carmel deep conditioning treatment, and hair gloss oil. I’ve ordered the products from the company’s website in the past. But was excited to see I could purchase the natural hair care line from this location. It’s been many years since I used the Carmel deep conditioning treatment and spent a lot of time reading the instructions on the bottle in store prior to purchasing. At checkout the owner and or manager (women) and another older associate (women) was taking a longtime to ring up the Carmel treatment. I assumed it was an issue scanning the barcode and did not pay much attention to what they were doing. Upon coming home I open the product and it looks and smells very old. I know how the product should look and smell due to purchasing it directly from the company E’tae in the past. I then notice written in sharpie on the back of the product by the instructions is an expiration date of 12/23. Again in store I throughly read the instructions on the product and no date was listed. Why would I buy a overpriced product on 11/8/23 for it to be expired by 12/23. I immediately reached out to the company E’tae via Instagram to confirm the shelf life of the product. They confirmed the shelf life is 10 months. Upon returning to the store no accountability for what had transpired. Blatantly rude and taking extremely long to process my refund which is a store credit only. Why would I want a store credit to purchase additional old products. I suggest shopping at beauty store with high foot traffic. We work hard for our money and I expect to purchase quality products. Not products that have been sitting on a shelf for months or years about to expire still being sold overpriced due to low customer sells/ foot traffic in store."

"I love this store. I always find everything I'm looking for, the employees are very friendly and always help me find what I'm looking for. The only thing I don't like is that at all times, I can see the employees watching you thinking that you are going to steal. I understand and empathize with the fact that you have to be very careful because today crime is very high. I come from NY, so you can imagine that I can understand it. But I also think it's very awkward trying to look at products and have someone looking at you thinking that you are going to steal. Today I went to the store and saw one of the employees walking super fast aisle by aisle, watching over one of the customers who was trying to compare two different products. I think there may be other methods that both the customer and the employees can feel comfortable with when buying and ensuring that customers do not steal."

"I have been coming here since they first opened and love how friendly the owners are. They are eager to provide a variety of hard-to-find beauty products from locally made shea butter lip balm to hair extensions. In between there are also great shampoos, styling tools, gels, and healthy essential oils and hair treatments. I don't go there very often but I go when I need a specialty item and want it right away as opposed to waiting for Amazon to deliver. I have yet the be disappointed."
