"There is absolutely no reason why a person should have to wait 3 weeks for a medication with no communication! I called to get an EPT(estimated pickup time) and what the lady said to me VERBATIM is “Well we’re extremely short staffed and no one have time to type in the prescriptions, so if it’s been called in by the provider it’s most likely still sitting at drop off” like girl well PICK IT UP!! What if it was a life or death medication then what would your response have been?! Thank God it wasn’t but still do better for the people who patronize your establishment and HIRE BETTER STAFF!"
"I chose this location bc it’s the closest one to me, but I dread picking up my meds. Most of my meds can’t be shipped to me, so I have no option but to go in. The pharmacy is pretty much always severely understaffed, and waiting 15+ minutes in line is usually the minimum, since there’s typically only one person on register. There’s also rarely enough pharmacists around to answer the phone. I’d like to make it clear that I don’t blame the pharmacists, but I blame whoever’s in charge for not staffing enough people."
"This pharmacy has been decent in that past, but they no longer answer their phone. I need to call in my prescription since it is a controlled substance. Really pitiful customer service. Edited to add: There is a new pharmacist who is very aggressive on the phone. She snapped at me when I finally got though and expressed that I was happy to finally talk to someone. When my scripts were filled, i heard her in an intense argument with a customer on the phone while I was waiting in line."
"I just moved to the area and had my prescriptions moved to this CVS from another CVS in Northern Virginia that I had been using for 25 years without any problems. I had accidentally left my prescriptions at my old house and asked if I could get an emergency 3 day supply until I was able to return to Northern Virginia. I stressed to the person with whom I was speaking that a couple of my meds had to be taken every 12 hours and that missing them was hazardous to my health. It took them 2 full days to notify me my prescriptions were ready. I subsequently spoke with the pharmacy manager, who told me they were short-handed and to her credit, said she was sorry. I accepted her apology, but then said that I can't afford further mistakes and that if it happened again, I would need to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. At that point the manager said she did not take kindly to threats. I responded that I was stating a fact, and that with my health condition, I could not afford to have them screw up. The manager said she would move my scrips now, but I demurred, as I hadn't found another pharmacy. I have since located another nearby pharmacy which is highly recommended. I will take her up on her offer, as nothing offends me more than someone screwing up and then having an attitude about it. Plus, since they are shorthanded, it's apparent their quality control is suspect. A competent pharmacy manager would not have responded the way this person did. I now have zero trust in this CVS."
"Service is very hit or miss. I showed up once 15 mins before closing and the doors were already locked. I called the location from outside and i just listened to the phone ring. The other week i went in and asked for propane. The woman made a face and said they didnt have propane before another employee interjected so she could help get propane."
