"This place seems to need a little more training/classes on dogs or let people know y’all aren’t comfortable with working with pitbull. This is the only place that feels they need to muzzle my dog, because doctors and staff are scared because she barks. They do it every time sadly. I’ve never been to a vet where the staff are scared of a dog bark or understand she’s scared. When I made the decision to wanting to switch vets, the front desk refuse to send over my documentations to that vet, which made it difficult on me. (Glad I SWITCHED from this place because my dog was smiling the whole time and never bark and they welcomed my dog with open arms/love at the new place. As well they had additional training for dog that are scared and just need to feel safe.)"

"BENJI is a senior and was my deceased mohers fur baby. When I relocated to the area a few years back a neighbor recommended West End and it was the best place I could have gone for my fur brother. They take such good care of Benji. Last time Benji was feeling under the weather as usual Dr. Ruby and the WE staff were so patient, caring and attentive. Both dogs had surgeries this year and I was extraordinarily impressed by the time and attention Dr. Mason and her team dedicated to my dogs, but also ensuring everything was thoroughly explained to me in advance, they communicated with me throughout the day, and ensured I received thorough after care instructions when I spoke with them post-surgery AND when I picked up the dogs later in the day. Dr. Mason even checked up with me a few days later to make sure the dogs were on the mend. The level of attention and care my dogs have received at West End Veterinary Clinic is unparalleled. "Dr. Mason is an amazing veterinarian. So kind and caring to our two dogs and very skilled at explaining things in a way you as the pet owner can understand. She caught something in one of our dogs that our old vet did not and was able to treat it quickly with antibiotics. The practice is very thoughtful about suggesting services your animals need and doesn’t try to sell you things you don’t need. We just met Dr. S and were very happy with our visit with her as well."
