"Made my grooming appointment 2 weeks in advance after an initial consultation with the groomer. was told to drop my dog off at 830am and that he would be done by 3pm. Got a call around 2:45 saying he wouldn't be ready until 5:30 now because there were "more dogs than expected". So I showed up to get him at 5:30 and was told it would be another hour. Returned at 6:30pm and he STILL wasn't ready. Ended up taking him home at 7pm. 10.5 hours after I dropped him off for his "scheduled appointment". I informed them from the very beginning that he was a rescue and didn't do well in crates. Yet he was left in a crate for an extended period of time, with no bathroom breaks or water I assume, due to the accidents he had in my car and the 2 full bowls of water he drank when we got home. I don't understand why my dog was the first to be dropped off and the last to be groomed, despite making an appointment well in advance? His hair looks great but we will never be going back again, as it was clearly a very traumatic experience for him since he has regressed back to the timidness and extremely submissive behaviors he had when I first adopted him in December."
"Great local pet store, far better experience than chain stores. They have far more and better food options, they have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and their prices are well within reason. Tough to go wrong here, I only wish one were closer to me, but I'll continue to drive across town to go here."
