"Do not trust your pet or your veterinary needs to these people. I am a current military member who has had my dog going here since he was born 2 years ago on their "Paw Plan" getting regular care, tests, and vaccines to the ultimate tune of thousands of dollars. Ordered to a short fuse PCS to Hawaii I needed a simple health certificate to allow his travel and entry to Hawaii completed by his vet. Our vet refused to help despite seeing my dog since his birth and having all of his records and the obnoxious front desk clerk said we would just have to have the records transferred to another vet to do the cert-who had never seen our dog before. They were happy to push unnecessary tests and medications to make money off of us for the last two years but shrugged us off when we actually needed their help. A quick google search of vets in the area show that this is a standard and commonplace service they provide to their clients--especially in such a military heavy area with these types of transfers being commonplace. Do not waste your money here-they don't care about you, your money, or your dog."
"I cannot recommend PA Vet Hospital enough. I was referred by a friend. Post covid healthcare and vet care has been hard in general, but at PA I have experienced excellent communication and great care for my dog Chancellor. He had to get teeth removed and PA is now his regular vet clinic. I won’t take him anywhere else!"
"We love everyone at Princess Anne Vet! The front desk staff is very friendly and organized. All of the Veterinarians are very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. We especially love Dr. Dalton. You can tell she loves our big goofball (Bernese mountain dog) and is passionate about what she does."
"They are easy to get an appointment with. The staff were nice. I called and got a same day appointment. This is the second time I went to this vet, once for my cat, and this time for my dog; he had an ear infection. They did easily diagnose and give treatment but there are reasons I only gave 3 star. My issue is how very expensive they are. They even charged for showing me how to clean my dogs ears $44.This made me rethink taking my pets to them in the future because I think that was over the top honestly, and it should have been included since it took all of three minutes. They charge higher than normal prices overall for total treatment and the medications. So I walked out of there paying $307 for an ear infection, 2 medications, and the assistant showing me how to clean the dogs ears. I do not blame the staff for this because prices come from the top and from what I hear this was taken over many years ago by corporate types. There is a couple pieces of advice I would also like to give Princess Anne Veterinary Hospital: Be more reasonable with the prices, do not try to squeeze money out of customers pockets for every tiny thing. Also, to all of the staff, you are pleasant but I was able to hear everything you were talking about from the waiting room concerning other clients and mishaps that were going on."
"Great hospital with great doctors and vet techs. We took our puppy for a new client/wellness exam and we were given all the information needed and he was greeted very well. They were very accommodating with the prescriptions we were using and have an online portal for easy ordering. Dr. Butala was amazing, very patient with all our questions, and answered all of them very thoroughly. She was very gentle when examining our puppy and he was very calm during the whole exam. This will be our place to go to for the rest of our time in VA."
