"Amazing collection of WWI AND WWII PLANES. THE volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The young girl selling tickets was not friendly and kinda rude. She could use more customer service training."
"We enjoyed looking at the planes. I would have liked the option to have a tour guide. If that was an option, we weren't told about it. The staff were friendly and everything was organized well. Inside all of the buildings was really cold though. I'm not sure if the temperature had to do with keeping costs down or preserving the planes or none of those, but it was cold inside. We went in December."
"Outstanding information about your history by knowledgeable volunteers. This is a Diamond in your own backyard. Easy drive from N.C., and S.East VA. Plan for an entire day walking around magical relics from WWI and WWII."
"Very nice museum with lots of World War planes and some small tanks and other war stuff. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. They have a hanger from Germany during ww2 that was brought over and rebuilt on site and the same with a british watch tower. You can be flown in a plane but you should order tickets for that way in advance."
