Reynolds Community College (Goochland Campus)

"I’m in my 40s and signed up for a workforce career certificate program per my advisors recommendation (and Reynolds website) but am now being told that the program doesn’t exist and never existed EVEN THOUGH ITS ON THEIR WEBSITE. This is after a month of the Advising and STEM department blowing me off and ignoring my emails and calls. I’m 5k in debt, 2 years and 1.5 semesters from an associates and oh yeah did I mention I have serious medical issues, recently lost the ability to walk, and signed up for the workforce certification program instead of going for an associates because I DONT HAVE LONG TO LIVE. The fact the STEM department feels so comfortable gas lighting the women who enroll at Reynolds really speaks for itself. This certificate was meant to be a lifeline of sorts so I can try to save some money to help my family in the time I have left and this school has been a nightmare, the whole experience has caused me extreme emotional distress. How funny of all the serious literal life or death issues swirling around me right now, the majority of my stress is coming from this program that Reynolds created to force incoming students into their associates program by tricking them into taking out loans and ruining what’s left of their future. PVCC is more expensive for a reason, this place is a joke"
