"Waited on hold for 30 minutes on the appointment line only to be told I couldn’t make an appointment with my PCM because I already have one with him for a different purpose and most people struggle to get one, let alone 2 appointments scheduled. He told me to google the number to the front desk and they may tell me something different. Lamest excuse ever and terrible customer service. What’s the point of having an appointment line if they can’t even schedule appointments? Navy medicine, in particular this clinic, can get bent. Good luck doing anything here. Go out in town if you can."

"This pharmacy takes 3 days to fill meds and then their hours are literally impossible for anyone that has a full time job to pick up those meds, like they barely work. There hours are 0800-1500 and they close for an hour during lunch 1200-1300. How is anyone supposed to get their meds that works a normal schedule?"

"The military retirees are struggling trying to log onto or gain access to this "new patient Portal". Way too complex for the average retiree to get into or use if by chance they do get into it. I have spent weeks trying to use the site but no success. I'm 100% disabled and this new site will ensure my passing on early. I have a broken back, broken neck, brain bleed and insulin using type II diabetic. What didn't get me in Viet Nam, Granada, Bierut, Cuban quarantine will surely get me on GENESIS. If I didn't know to go to the Dumfries Military Pharmacy, I would be plum out of luck. NRMC MCB Quantico works hard but haven't been given the tools to tame this monster system the DOD has released on the retirees of the military. Good luck on future recruiting because you're your own worst enemy! I have spent weeks getting injection needles and insulin to stay alive. Thank God the Dumfries DOD Pharmacy has common sense and empathy, or I would still be running around bumming rides and begging DOD pharmacies for help. Caveat Emptor for those wanting to spend a career in the military."

"It’s the military. The doctors are great but unfortunately if you have urgent matter, it’s very hard to get an appointment. My labs were off but the doctor left so no one called to schedule the follow up appointment. Dr. Gilmore is my kids doctor and she’s great. Her nurse will call if she’s running late. You can tell she truly care for the kids."

"The pharmacy makes their own hours. I’ve come to pick up a prescription multiple times on a Friday but they don’t follow their posted hours. What are they? 1600, 1500, 1400, are there hours of operation?!"
