"Frank Amato and his Counter Tops By Design team (including his beautiful wife Lorena) just finished repainting/repairing our 17 year old kitchen cabinets and replacing our similarly aged countertops and sink with a beautiful solid state (similar to Corian) product. The results couldn’t be more beautiful—the word “perfect” really does come to mind—to behold, and all the work was done within barely more than a week from start to finish: Frank works on one project at a time, and always shows up when he says he will, communicates consistently, and is always aware of any concerns that one may have and addresses them completely in real time. I knew Frank from a small repair job he did for me 10 years ago, and although he wasn’t the only one I asked for an estimate on this major project, his prices were in line with the others, but he told me that certain things they assured me were impossible (like that the cabinets had to be replaced and could not be not repainted) were instead quite doable. He was also able to start almost immediately, when no one else could guarantee being finished before our Christmas guests would be moving in for the holidays, and he made all the arrangements to have a plumber come and hook up our new faucet hours after the counters were installed. Frank is a perfectionist and a joyfully self-admitted workaholic; he even enjoys working on weekends if need be. He is a walking encyclopedia after many decades of practicing his craft—my wife and I call it art—and he offered many helpful suggestions in the planning phase that my wife is over the moon about after we implemented some of them. This man set the bar as high as possible for anyone doing this type of work. I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever, and tell you that if you need this type of work done, stop reading right now and call him. I am absolutely sure you will not be disappointed.
