"We were in the area for a short visit when our truck decided to go into reduce power mode. PHD was able to fit us in and get us fixed and back on the road in no time. Hard to find places like this anymore. Wish we had a place like this near us!"
"Had a car delivered to my house by another service. They couldn't get it off the trailer. I called penninsula heavy duty and they went above and beyond after closing time to give me the proper advice to get my car safely. Thank you"
"I've had a few dealings with these guys and even brought a couple of my friends to them. Every time I've had to have anything done from a oil change to replacing all 8 injectors in my truck. I've had nothing but good things to say about the professionalism and work they have put into the vehicles and trust put into their hands. Would recommend to anyone needing any degree of work done on their vehicle."
"I was promised a vehicle (Tracker) from the owner (Gene) for two weeks. In those two weeks I called literally multiple times every day asking when the vehicle would be ready for purchase. I was then promised, every day, it would absolutely be ready tomorrow. The next day, I would be given a long-winded list of excuses why the vehicle was still not ready, followed by more guarantees it would be ready the following day. The daughter (Kelly) answers the office phone, and it was with her I usually spoke. On the final day of the grueling two week experience, when I was told yet again the vehicle was not ready; I had the following conversation with Kelly. "I need you to stop calling because I don't have time to stop talking to the customers in front of me so I can answer the phone and talk to you. The Tracker will be ready when's it's ready, and you'll either buy it or you won't". I was literally stunned speechless with her blatantly rude, condescending attitude. I was ready to buy a vehicle from them, a serious investment, but I was bothering them by asking when they were going to actually fulfill their end of the bargain. I never called again, nor received a call back from Kelly or Gene. Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had the misfortune to suffer. Customers beware; take nothing they say at face value, believe nothing that they promise you, and please don't upset them by asking them to stand by their word."
"The best mechanic I have ever been to. Very fair and honest. As a woman, it is often to difficult to find a mechanic who will listen to and address concerns. They go above and beyond all expectations!!! I will always take my car to them."
