I asked a young female clerk with Blue hair to assist me with a code reading. immediately said if the light wasn't on its not going to read. She was emphatic that her code reader was basic and won't read much. So I responded ok can I still check it, she said No it won't work if your light isn't on. I said my light may still be on can I check it Please she refused and told me to take it to a shop to get a better reading?? SO I LEFT that location and Drove a few miles to another Advance on 1004 Jclyde. Another young lady gave me NO hassle to use the code reader. Even though my check engine light was off it still read the code properly and the clerk looked up the code which helped me tremendously and resolved my issue. That's real customer service!!"
