"Had the day off, went to my regular state inspection auto shop too late so I decided to look into Meineke since I heard commercials on the radio. So convenient to schedule my state inspection, brake check, tire rotation, and tire patch. Got an email later that said I failed inspection and listed my “issues”. Just to pass inspection, the recommended fixes Would cost roughly $1700. I actually okayed what needed to be fixed to pass inspection. Then I get a call back saying that it was actually the rear steering differential that needed to be fixed and that would cost me $7200! I became skeptical and paid for the tire rotation and the tire patch and took my vehicle to another station. That miraculously passed my vehicle with no issues. How does that happen? So not a great experience. I’m not even sure if what they recommended was legitimate."

"Went in for repair of a wiring harness on my Honda Civic that was chewed/destroyed by a rodent that crawled up in my hood. Luckily this was covered by my comprehensive insurance. My fault for trusting that I’d be given a fair value and not waiting to approve the work before the adjuster was able to finish his paperwork…didn’t want to delay the part being ordered, and didn’t expect that Meineke’s “matrix” would automatically mark up the part 60% over what the typical repair shop would charge. My insurance adjuster called 3 different repair shops to confirm current pricing, $1000 less than Meineke price. Edit: Upgrading my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, because after I called and complained, the shop manager looked into the matter and adjusted the price the following day. Still a bit higher than the average, but that’s to be expected going to a nationally branded mechanic. 5 stars for courtesy and professionalism of the staff, but shop around if you’re on a budget."

"EDIT: 1 start to 3 star! At first, they completely ripped off my husband. The computer up charged the part over 40%, after calling and being direct, the following day they adjusted the price to be more fair and realistic. Thank you for listening and doing what you could to make it right! We appreciate that!"

"Absolutely my favorite car care center. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. ERIC is especially my favorite, he has always made sure to take good care of all my vehicles and always works with me when I have big repairs to do. THANK YOU so much for taking great care of my vehicles helping keep my family on the road safely and still keep a little money in my pocket.
