"I must admit we have encountered the best professional service that could be provided. My wife had wisdom tooth pain and Miss calteisha went above and beyond to help us getting an appointment. Thank you so much for all the efforts."
"our first few appointments were very good, they are nice people. but we havent gone back in MONTHS because they kept canceling our appointments for no reason! 3 days ago they called us to finally schedule an appointment and we showed up today 20 minutes before our appointment. over 10 minutes of the time of our appointment passed and we were getting impatient to we asked about it and our appointment was canceled!! AGAIN!! this was our last straw. we will not be going back, we're going to find a different dentistry."
"I have usually had a pretty good experience here but as of recently it’s gone so downhill. In March of last year I was told I needed a root canal. Then I come in a few months later for a cleaning and was told otherwise. A few months later I was experiencing the worst tooth pain of my life for them to once again say I don’t need a root canal. Then I came again in May insisting I needed a root canal and they took my scans and said oh yeah you need a root canal but I couldn’t get it done at Spencer Dental because they didn’t offer root canal appointments at the time. Fast forward to August/September I come to find out they offer root canal appointments now which was great. I was scheduled to get my appointment done in October and when I get there the doctor informed me that she wanted to put a temporary filling in that would help heal the canal and that I NEEDED to be back within 2 weeks. So I went out to the front desk and they told me they couldn’t do that and they were scheduled for the entire month and that I would have to call Ria, the endodontist scheduler. I called her and informed her about my situation and she said she would place me on a quick call list. It’s December, and my filling is essentially gone. I went to Spencer Dental in person to ask about their January appointment times and what do they say? Oh we don’t have appointments until February. I am livid. I was told I was on a quick call list for my root canal but I guess I was lied to. I am walking around with my tooth wide open means I am susceptible to infection but that doesn’t seem to matter because all they can say is oh we’re scheduled you’ll have to wait until the providers put out dates and we will call you because you’re on the quick call list. But wait that’s the same thing you said a few months ago? So what’s going on? I am absolutely disappointed, devastated, and unsatisfied with the care I have received from Spencer dental. I just want to get my root canal completed but they don’t seem to care."
"Unfortunately, I had an unfavorable experience with this dental office. I attempted to reschedule my appointment three weeks in advance and made 36 phone calls to do so, but none were answered. As a result, I was forced to keep the original appointment and take time off from work. I also attempted to contact other Spencer dental offices in the area, but received no response from any of them. It doesn’t make sense to have phones if they aren’t being answered. That’s what they are there for. Today, March 13th, which was my scheduled appointment, I was informed that my appointment was canceled because I did not respond to a verification call made by the office on Friday. I received a phone call from the office on Friday. That call rang one time and then quickly ended. There was no voicemail left or a second call from the dental office. So I expressed confusion as they had already confirmed the appointment the day it was set back in December. The staff working on March 13th did not try to help me or reschedule my appointment. Instead they told me they would call me when they have an opening. That is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t make any sense. I had an appointment, then it gets canceled for no apparent reason, not a single phone call is ever answered, and on top of that I don’t have a new appointment scheduled. So basically i have to sit by my phone and wait for a call. It doesn’t make any sense. I give praise to the professionalism of the dentist and assistants, but the office staff is very unprofessional and has extremely poor customer service. Accepting insurance for low-income families should not preclude the delivery of quality service. It’s such a shame."
