The Dental Studio of Hampton Roads

"The absolute worst visit ever!!!!!!!!! Im in my car right now crying because this dentist was just horrible. I made the appointment 2wks in advance at least and asked about dental bonding and told them about an issue i had with a tooth from another dentist and they set the appointment up. I come in and the hygienist was just fantastic. Absolutely wonderful and kind. I told her all that happened with me and what i was looking for and then the dentist came in. He began to look at my teeth and suggested veneers. I immediately said i don't want veneers at all. From that moment on he was cold and mean and told me he didnt do bonding even though it says so under services and such. He then was really cold asking me about the tooth that was bothering me and i went along to get x-ray then he came back in and i asked him why would they say they offer bonding if they dont do it i mean that was almost the main reason for my visit. He stated they dont use bonding to reconstruct teeth. He was just not at all kind anymore after i let him knw i didnt want what he suggested so i asked if he would still be ok with performing my check up because his demeanor was now off and he then put my chair down and said we can just cancel the visit. Which i was happy with because i dont think a person should ever allow someone in your mouth who may have contempt for you. This is my review and i guess if you do and go along with what he says he will be nice to you, but if not just be aware his attitude may change. I hate dentists and i hate them even more now they have got sooo much leeway. Came to the va beach one because i thought it would be better but i was wrong"

"I’ve been coming to this place for as long as I can remember. Dr. Davis is amazing and always tends to my dental needs. Joy the Dental Hygienist has always done a phenomenal job on my cleanings. I moved out of state almost 20 years ago and always plan my vacations around my dental cleanings. I don’t trust any other practices except this one. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!!"

Please note this review is not about their Dental services but is a response to their front desk service. I just called to schedule an appointment as a new patient but was quickly hung up on. I called back and another person answered and said they must be having some technical issues but didn't offer an apology. Regardless of tech issues or not, an apology would suffice. In a time where taking accountability is important and necessary, it's frustrating to engage with folks who'll give reasons over an apology. I hope y'all do future patients better."
