"I was traveling through the Virgina Beach area a while back and had some issues with what was assumed to be the balance on my driveshaft. The owner balanced it, but it ended up being an issue with the transmission not the driveshaft. Because of this he wouldn’t even take compensation for his hard work. Super nice and welcoming guy."

"I would absolutely get Rory and Son Transmission and Driveline to do any work that they offer on any of my vehicles. I don’t know the full scope of services they offer, but they performed a transmission drain and fill on my 17 Highlander and a complete transmission rebuild on my 07 Suburban at 184k miles. The Toyota dealer told me the Highlander trans fluid was good for the life of the vehicle. A quick Google search kinda debunks this one. Rory and Son did the drain and fill. The trans rebuild has been great so far-after a 2-3k miles. Their estimate was very close to the initial ball park estimate. Communication was great. Always answer the phone, will call back in a reasonable amount of time if you miss them. Willing to explain the whole process. They also finished on time as promised. They upgraded a few parts, the trans shifts much better than ever, cleaner/stiffer shifts and stronger feeling transmission, seems to be different shift points but it’s better imo."

"Was referred to this company to inspect/check out my transmission leak issue. They found my issue and fixed it as soon as they received the part. I was fortunate that this company had a mechanic, who has vast knowledge of older Toyota vehicles and enjoys working on them. And this shop/mechanic taught me something new that I didn't know of my vintage toyota, that it had gear oil in my A132L automatic Transmission in a separate compartment; Now I know. "Great communication and informative, super friendly, work was done faster than I expected and for a fair price. I brought my 82’ Toyota Pickup in for a head gasket and clutch replacement. Ended up needing a new cam as well due to the lobes on the shaft being worn down significantly. Was in constant contact with James was even sent pictures of the worn out part. They finished the truck up in week and its been running like dream so far. Idle is smoother, shifting is smoother and according to the butt dyno it feels like a got more horses running through that 22R engine. Definitely is my first choice if I need more work done on the truck."
