"I went in this store on the morning of 01/16/2024 between the hours of 0700 and 1000. The cashier, an older black woman, by the name of Pat or Pam is EXTREMELY RUDE. Her tone was off and she was very snappy with me from the time she began scanning my groceries. She even slung my bag of groceries on the floor. (She did pick it up.. obviously I wasn’t going to) Please find pleasant and professional people to work with the public. I love Kroger and this one is more convenient due to location but I doubt I’ll be back to this one. Do better people."
"The store often has a few things out of stock and it's not particularly clean or organized. Most annoyingly, there never seems to be any carts or baskets available. But other than that it's an ok grocery store."
"I’d give them a solid 4. I’ve been shopping there for years, and it’s an alright grocery store in an ideal location. I used to be on the 1100 block of Grace St. for around 6 years and would go almost daily. Still go now every so often even tho I’m over on the hill. They are an easy spot to drop by on my way home from work and have more of a variety than Market at 25th St."
"While I was at self checkout, I watched someone steal a cart of groceries -- just walked right out. The cashier saw it too and just shook her head. I asked the cashier why they don't do something about it, she said there's nothing she can do. After I paid I was walking out and saw their SECURITY GUARD. I asked him if he saw or did anything about the thief. He didn't even know what I was talking about because he hadn't been paying attention, socialiazing with some other person outside the door. You want to know why your grocery prices are going up? This is why. Incompetence and stealing just becoming normal."
"Worst Kroger in the country, I shop here all of the time because it's the only grocery store nearby, but the shelves are always sparsely stocked and not a single employee takes responsibility for the store they are paid to work at and you are expected to check the UPC of every item you pickup for from shelves they stock even if it he tag matches the item because they will accuse you of switching the tags and refuse to match their own pricing. Karl the manager should be fired because he does not take responsibility for the store you pay him to manage. In this picture is the price as marked on the shelf where two bags of food were, I took one to the register and it rang up 25.49 which was not even a price anywhere on the shelf, two associates told me even though the tag description matches the product, they refused to match the price because the upc didn't match. I know how terribly managed this Kroger is so I even double checked the tag to make sure the description matches the item. I have never shopped in a store where the customer is expected to check the validity of every price tag to the upc, and I certainly will never shop at Lombardy Kroger again as this is only the last time I get accused of lying by a business I support actively. If stores treat people this way they can't expect to stay in business..the end."
