Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store

"A good place to give in Dale city According to their website, Goodwill is, “American nonprofit provider of job training, employment placement, and other community services, funded by a network of retail thrift stores. As of 2021, they had over 4200 stores in the United States. A family member was cleaning out their house and wanted to donate so I found this site. It is in a strip of stores on the northeast corner of Dale Hwy and Gideon Drive. It is at the end of the line of stores with an open parking lot fronting all the stores. The inside of the store is fairly large. Items are laid out for easy viewing and access. It was fairly clean. If you are giving items to them, they are very accommodating with carts outside by the curb. When I arrived, there was a staff member who helped me to unload curbside onto the carts. He was very helpful and friendly and even told me some of the items that they could not take. If you need a receipt, just tell the staff and they will get you one for your donation. Overall, it was one of the easiest donation experiences that I have had with any Goodwill location."

"Stay away from this store especially if you seek employment. Predatory men work here and they employ useless people who need to find another job or retire. All of the managers are unprofessional and unskilled at their jobs and only got to where they are from gross nepotism. The worst thing about this store is store manager Seble who is a shrewish, cold, poor excuse of a human being."

"This place is great, but I wish management would be more responsible. The location says it closes an hour later than the signage."

"My 1st time here! Very clean store! Most puzzles are $4.99 no matter what the puzzle count is. Clothing is all very brightly sized by tags. The kitchen items /party /office /exercise/ framed art, etc are all VERY organized! Note: the line to check out STARTS back by the changing rooms. The employees are SUPER nice! I didn't have a VA Goodwill account, (I'm from MN) when I was checking out, so the gentleman helped me out! See my photos!"
