Family Dollar

"First and foremost all customers should be treated the same but unfortunately they are not. I went into store not greeted and when I went to the counter the associate at the register was in the middle of something. She immediately looked at me and saw someone that wasn't her complexion and immediately asked move to go to the next register that was cluttered with products that I couldn't sit my purchase on the counter. We made the exchange and the customer behind me was here hue she immediately directed her to the clean counter. This wouldn't be an issue but a co-worker of mines went into the store two days prior attempted to purchase a trac phone the associate at that time said there was no one there with a key no manager, which is incredible to believe. My thinking is that they either don't treat all customers the same or it's just some customers with a darker hue. It's a said state of affairs to have to deal with petty racist stereotypes in this day and age"

"FD Delivery Drivers, it's tight behind the building. Enter from Reb Yank Dr so your tractor is facing Sudley Rd. There are LOTS of cars that belong to the townhouses directly across the street from their dock. You can't back flush with their dock because you can't block the "roadway" apparently. At least according to one of the neighbors. Not ideal for anything over a 28' trailer. This store is located in a No idle Zone."

"About the Pepsi products the advertisement said it was 3/$11 but they charged me 3/$13 they told me because it had to be only Pepsi but i had Pepsi Mountain Dew and crush which are Pepsi products. The cashiers were very rude they didn’t want to give me their managers name nor her number and they gave me the number of corporation. When I asked what corporation is that they just said corporation. I asked for the details of the advertisement they ignored me. I know it’s just a $2 difference but they are stealing money from the people."

"I really would like to escalate this and to speak with a Corporate representative, who can I contact directly? Family Dollar Management, On 12/12/2022 I had the most heartbreaking and unpleasant experience at the family dollar store in Manassas Virginia. The two employees working in the evening were not trained and treated me very rude.  They tried to speak of me in Spanish until I told them in Spanish that I understand everything that they are saying. I look African American and so they believed they were talking about a black woman that could not understand what they were saying. This service was 100% unacceptable because first they told me that my online order was not available in store and come back tomorrow,  then they told me that I could not make a return. Each time they told me to come back the next day when the manager comes. When I insisted they found my online order in the back. Then they called the police and tried to have a trespass order issued against me. I spoke with the officer, I told him I was a lawyer and that the experience was racism. I told him in a polite and respectful manner what I experienced and that I had done nothing wrong. The officer understood what I told him in Spanish. I was not issued a Trespass order but it was alarming that employees tried to assert this power behind their racist and discriminatory practice. If i was not an attorney I likely would have had issues expressing the situation and it could have turned very negative. I do not believe Family Dollar encourages this type of racism and poor customer service. I was told that the store manager was called and basically encouraged their behavior. This I cannot confirm as the store manager was not there but I heard one of the cashiers speaking in Spanish on the phone. I would like to speak to the regional manager. Every year I purchase from Family dollar for our church Christmas drive and this year has been a horrible experience filled with hate and discrimination. I have been reaching out to management for a week now."

"Been hunting for some nice simple sweat shirts, been three other stores, none that worked. They had plenty, I bought two and now that I've tried them I'm going back for more. Also got some great knit hats and gloves, just a buck each!"
