"I tried this place because its 5 mins from my job and the reviews were good. This food was some of the most watery flavorless chinese I ever had. This would be a GREAT option for someone who is a bit more health conscious and is looking for chinese food with a low sodium intake or something. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and an order of wings. The wings were fried soft and shrimp sauce was BLAND. I gave 3 stars ONLY because it was hot and the service was nice and friendly. I would only recommend this place if you are looking for a "healthier option" to regular chinese spots."

"Iconic American Chinese food spot in Kempsville. Been here since the Lincoln administration. Years and years ago, saw kids in the kitchen. Now they're not kids anymore. Great food, great prices, no better Chinese takeout for at least fifteen miles. The lunch specials come loaded with pork fried rice. I tend to have the pork egg foo young, but all the items are terrific. Closed on Mondays and that's the only negative aspect about this place, is that they close. You cannot go wrong with this fabulous neighborhood spot."

"Watery and wet sesame chicken that was soft and bland, the house fried rice was cold, including the shrimp to which is scary since that's food poisoning waiting to happen! I've also never had such bland fried rice... Very disappointed with this place since the reviews are one of the highest in VA Beach. At least they were nice though..."

"It's a pick up place, anyway the food was great got different stuff, garlic chicken combo w pork fr rice and egg roll yummy, friends got Szechuan chix, chicken fried rice, beef w broccoli and we all loved it! Very fast preparation. Don't have pics cuz I ate it too fast! Recommend any that we tried but I'll probably try their version of chow mei fun ... (Curry spiced thin noodles), someone in near future!"
