"This is a review from a delivery order. I ordered on doordash and received my order relatively quickly, however my excitement was short lived. I first opened the plantains and looking at them I knew the taste would be off, it was worse than I thought. Ripe plantains are sweet, these tasted like warm cotton. So I definitely wasn't looking forward to the main course. The curry was salty which made me sad because I really love curry chicken. The mac and cheese tasted like something I could've made from a box and the noodles, ugh the noodles were like so soft and mushy and just made me sad. The only solid in this meal was the rice and peas. I'm willing to give them another shot because I llllloooovvvvveeee Jamaican food but I don't have high hopes. Pros- price, portion sizes, followed special instructions Cons-taste"

"Worse experience ever. First I had to track the bartender down for my card. The other bartender kept ignoring me getting everyone order over me. Attending to the regulars while she made me wait. I normally don't do bad reviews. I like to promote locals. But then I order Cassava leaves. I asked her what meat will be in it. She said chicken & beef. I got it home. It taste like goat but I know It definitely wasn't beef or chicken. I called back the following business day. The same person took my order said she was the manager. She tells me it wasn't goat still trying to convince me it was chicken & smoke turkey. That the meat pieces are chopped up to small to tell what kind of meat it is. The meat taste horrible. And take a look at that picture. That piece of meat definitely not chopped up. Definitely don't look like a smoke turkey or chicken. Instead of a refund for that horrible mess. I just ended the call. Because what part or a chicken or turkey. Could this be. Smh"

"After waiting an hour and a half for our food to be ready, we open up the containers and I just instantly tasted the greens… CANNED with no flavor, glory greens taste better. I scooped some of my curry goat and yellow rice to put on a plate and I instantly saw a two toned color strand of hair, my husband offered to share his just to find hair in his plate as well. I wish I could tell you all how the goat tasted but we found a total of 4 pieces of hair without even having to look hard SO WE DIDN’T EAT IT. The mac and cheese didn’t look great either. Wear hair nets or stop dropping customers food on the floor. All this hair is unacceptable."

"I bought 2 orders of casava leaf and I paid 35$ But that's not the problem the serving size wasn't adequate for the price. And there was no oil in the soup. I'm from Rhode Island where African food is abundant really it is. And for the serving size you get more bang for your buck. My suggestion to you is to increase your serving size and charge 20$ a plate so it makes sense for everyone!"

"This was my first time coming to this spot and I loved it! We went there to celebrate my beautiful friend (pictured here) for her birthday. I never knew of this place before going there Saturday. I loved the atmosphere and the music that was played. It's a very nice spot to kick back, have a nice party-like event, and get a nice bite to eat! We had the nicest waitress there, but I can't remember her name. I know that she's from Houston and I must say that she was the nicest person I met there! She was extremely polite, helpful, and friendly! The food was REALLY good and there were so many options! I had the salmon with rice & peas and cabbage. I added some oxtail sauce for the rice and jerk sauce for the salmon. Perfect combo! The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are nice! I can't wait to try this place again!! Highly recommended!"
