"The rave is real! Had the tako (grilled octopus) tacos and they were sublime!! Got 3 tako tacos to get $1 off, $17 and change before tip but so worth it especially when they piled the octopus high, that you can’t properly roll the corn tortillas, you still need a fork to pick up those pieces falling left and right. There are other great choices which I can go back for! Highly highly recommended. Oh yes, did I mention service at the bar was friendly, cheerful and prompt."

"A coworker and I went in around 6pm on a Wednesday. We were sat promptly and notified that happy hour was still going on until 7. We order our drinks and some salsa and chips to start. Salsa had a little bit of heat to it but had great flavor! Tiffany our waitress was just the right amount of attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu and answered the few questions we had. Food arrived quickly and was very favorable. Was actually surprised how inexpensive the bill was. Ap, meal and a couple of beers under $30. Would recommend"

"On our first visit I went with a group of 8. The food was not good at all. I ordered the birria tacos. The tacos looked like they were deep fried, too much salt and the taste wasn't good. The black beans taste like it came out of a can. The rice taste just like microwave jasmine rice with no flavor. We ordered appetizers and we were also very disappointed. Overall the food was just not good at all. I went back on a different night for just drinks and was also extremely disappointed at their over priced "juice" because i bet there was a teaspoon of liquor in the drink. Also, do not order a double! The charge double to price. Make sure to say "light ice" or they will basically give you a glass with Ice to the rim. These two drinks were $48!! We asked for a Paloma and the lady asked if we wanted a double and we ended up paying $28 for the small glass!! The other one was full of ice for $17! I asked the waiter about my full cup of ice and she said that this is normal and that for next time ask for light ice so she could put more sour mix. We went down the street to the fancy steak house (don't want to mention names) and we had 4 amazing drinks for under $50. The place and staff are very nice."

"I do not recommend the tortilla soup it was so hot we couldn’t eat it. Then when I asked the waitress she said it’s not normally that hot. It wasn’t touched past the two bites shared between 2 of us and it remained on our bill even after the questions. Very disappointed in the service and taste of the food. Authentic Mexican restaurants are the way to go!"

"We had lunch at the all new Union Taco at Summit Pointe in the heart of Chesapeake. This is a fantastic place to enjoy a wonderful meal. They are an urban take on a classic taqueria. They are not authentic Mexican cuisine, if you are looking for that, go somewhere else. They are serving up great quality food at reasonable prices. I absolutely love the Birria Tacos and I’ll put them up against any others in the area. They slow cook the beef until it is tender and delicious. You can practically drink the consummate (and I have) because it’s just that good. The Queso Fundito is amazing. It’s served piping hot, so it’s best to let it cool a bit before you dig in. The staff here is very well trained, accommodating, friendly and helpful with menu questions and suggestions. I usually have a fairly standard rule that I don’t go to places that have recently opened because it takes time to learn the systems and also to train the staff. This place is the exception to that rule. We had an incredible dining experience. A word of caution, if you’re ordering an appetizer, ask your server to delay putting in your entree order because their kitchen staff will have your main entrees out very quickly. Their ticket time is super fast. They didn’t have their liquor license yet so, no alcohol today. They expect it to come through very soon. That just meant we got to enjoy some of their incredible “Mocktails” (Alcohol Free Drinks.) If you enjoy great food, served by people who aim to please, check out Union Tacos at Summit Pointe, you’ll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community!"
