"If you’re looking for real southern grandma’s kitchen type of food I would highly recommend this restaurant! I went two weekends in row. To highlight a few items….the turkey wings are cooked to perfection and the collard greens & cornbread was nothing but the truth. My daughter loves the chicken and waffles, however, the fried sweet potatoes and apple pies were horrible…. pastries can be hard to make so I would give them a pass. Finally, the staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. Oh…I almost forgot about the price….I spent under $50 for three people and $35 for two on my second visit."

"We stopped here after visiting the Children's Museum. When you walk in, you can tell they were short staffed. Our waitress was great, though! She really did look out for us and made sure we got our food in a timely manner. I got the fried chicken wings, collard greens, mac n cheese, and a side order of yams. The chicken was season, the collards were good, the mac n cheese was okay, and the yams were not that sweet at all. My husband got turkey chops, collards, and Mac n cheese. He really enjoyed his meal. My daughter had fried chicken and French fries. You also get cornbread, and that was really sweet. In all, I would go back again."
