"I'm only giving it two stars because the lady at the front counter was nice. My review comes from a delivery perspective, but I don't recommend this location for that. My pickup was a sub and a simple side. I drove 15 minutes to get to them and the food was not ready on arrival. The wall I had two people manning the food counter and two other people manning the store. Maybe two other customers in the store when I arrived. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes after speaking to the lady at the front counter with no pickup ready. Can't recommend a place that can't get food ready in 35 minutes. Possibly longer since it got ordered."

"The very best Wawa’s in the Hampton Roads! I’m sure I’ve been to most of the Wawa’s in 5 of the 7 cities of Hampton Roads. This one is centrally located in a little shopping strip in front of a Walmart market, Providence Computer Repair, V.I.P. Nail Salon, Golden Star Chinese Restaurant and more. It’s on Kempsville Road and Greentree in Chesapeake. Great service from Tiffany, Kathy, Pat, Michelle, Beth and everyone that I’ve encountered recently. Best Philly Cheese subs. Their brisket is back! Most importantly the best coffee and coffee creamers along with a selection of tea bags and hot water. Salads, heat and eat meals in self serve section. Good deals when you download the app and remember to use for each purchase including gasoline. Donuts, cold drinks, smoothies etc. UPDATE *** Went to this location December 2022 and it’s still the best one ☝️ I’ve been to in Hampton Roads. Tara made me a hot gingerbread steamer from the holiday drink menu, Dynasti and Elizabeth were still most pleasant on the cash registers."

"Clean store and friendly staff. Used my Wawa rewards for a free sandwich. The transaction was easy, sandwich was made quickly, and was greeted by more than one employee, to include the cashier. Employees wore a mask Sanitizer available Masks required for customers"
