"Applebees in Suffolk VA(Lakeview Pkwy), is an example for the rest of the locations to take note. The double fried wings were superb... They actually look like the picture... Other Applebees, namely the one located in Hampton VA, (Mercury Ave), need to spend more time learning how real wings are cooked. The wings were crispy but weren't dried out, and the sauce was amazing."

"I recently went to this Applebee’s location It was a complete mess, if I could give zero stars, I would. I arrived at Applebee’s at 9:15. I didn’t get seated until around about 10:00. It was not busy at all it was about 15 customers inside. There were barely any customers inside so I was confused as to why I had to wait so long. Our server arrived to our table around 10:15 PM to take our orders we didn’t receive our food until 11:00pm. Once we received our food which I ordered a classic sampler, the mozzarella sticks were cold the chicken was cold and I was served spinach artichoke dip and the server told us they no longer had chips. Why would you tell someone that you ran out of chips after they’ve already ordered the item. I could’ve just ordered something else. Every single thing on my classic sampler was cold I couldn’t even eat it. The biggest issue is that I waited for almost an hour to sit down. Then I waited almost an hour to receive my food that was cold, and I couldn’t even enjoy it, I didn’t eat anything I was served!!!!! This was a complete waste of my time and money. The drinks are watered down And the customer service is absolutely horrible. If it wasn’t so late I could’ve went and spent my $50 elsewhere. For majority of the night, our server was nowhere to be found. He would be gone for 40 minutes at a time, and he never came back to give us refills on our waters or anything, he just didn’t care. The only time he came back was during the last call, I assume to collect our checks to run us out of there, this man never came back to ask us. How was our food or even if we needed anything? This is the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. This is exactly why he did not receive a tip. How could you be a server and not even care to check on your table at least three times throughout the night."

"My friend got takeout for us to eat some steak and hang out with our kids. This was probably one of the worst steaks I’ve had in the past 24 years of my life. I’m 24. The meat looked and tasted like it was made in a factory and whoever is in charge of seasoning needs to look up on YouTube how to season a steak. The fries were good though. But the green beans had a very light garlic flavor and was in desperate need of salt."

"Our waiter was rushing us out although we were literally waiting on him to bring us the check. We decided not to tip because well duh, you're rude? STEVEN decided to follow us outside to say "you shouldn't go out to eat if you can't tip" so Steven if you're reading this, tips are earned. you would've gotten 50% of the bill & with your nasty attitude, im glad we didn't tip you! Other than that, the food was great & the lady from the bar was A1 & she was REALLY sweet."
