"I was originally wary to go in. I thought maybe they only carried plus sizes online but I am SO happy I went in. The folks working were ALL so welcoming and helpful. I can’t say enough nice things about the ladies who helped me. They made suggestions and helped me walk out with a sick pair of jeans that I would never have tried on if not encouraged to. And they were like genuinely nice people who offered advise, not just nice to make a sale. I’ll definitely go back and I will never feel intimidated walking in as a plus size person."

"My first visit to store was not pleasant. I walked in the two girls never asked if I needed assistance. Of course I didn’t not until checkout. I found something , went to the register. The girls still not acknowledging that I’m at the register, they look right at me and said nothing. They could have said something like I will be right there or something. I waited almost 5 minutes. Then I walked out, because of no customer service I definitely won’t shop there."

"The customer service at this Madewell is unparalleled. I've been to many of their stores but the staff at this particular store are really the best. I went in today needing 2 outfits for a work team meeting and they talked me through the different styles of jeans, which size would be best, how to style the tops I tried on, and even found me shoes. Sometimes sales associates can feel like they're either ignoring you/not present or too present and pushy. These girls are not like that at all! They are there to help and will tell you when something isn't working. I love shopping here. This is what every retail store should strive to be with their staff :)"

"This place is amazing. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I was blown away by the customer service here. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. I especially have to shout out Rena. She is the “Jean Queen!” Seriously, she helped me find the jeans that were the right fit and style and spent a lot of time with me while I tried on 10+ pairs because I’m bad at making decisions. She was patient and taught me so much about how my jeans are supposed to fit. She did this while also giving many other customers the same time and attention to find the jeans they needed. I ended up with 2 pairs of amazing jeans that fit perfectly, are really high quality, and look really cute. This is my favorite place to buy clothes because everything is very high quality and exactly my style. Thank you!"
