"Had my back brakes replaced and my daughter said to use her mechanic, which is Newton's Garage. He was also the cheapest in price out of about 10 mechanics that I called. Place was clean. Even the bathroom was more cleaner than other mechanics places. I was impressed. They were polite and friendly. I'm very happy I went with my daughter's advice and took my vehicle to Newtons. I highly recommend Newtons!!"

"My family and I were traveling from PA to NC and the studs on my van broke off and left us on the side of the highway. Mark and his family were absolutely amazing! Treated us like family. Stephanie is an absolute saint and came to get my kids and I. Fixed our vehicle and had us back on the road in about 3 hours! Reasonable prices! "Our vehicle was breaking down on the hwy. We were only half way through our trip. It was an emergency trip, and we needed help to get to our destination on time. It was closing time for Newton Garage, but they helped us anyway! Very gracious and kind, with a sense of humor too. Fixed everything beautifully! Reasonable price! We were back on the road to our destination in less than an hour! They were Angels to help us in our distress. We were Grateful!"

"Update: I talked with Mark about my issue and understand why things happened the way they happened. The swap was done right and now I know why it took the time it did, i'm upping the star rating from 2 to 4. While the work Mark and Chris do is fine their billing and customer service stink. I recently had them do an engine swap for a warranty claim. They knew that I would be the one paying then I would try to get reimbursed. They charged me 3 hours @ $60 an hour for them to go to the hardware store to get parts... And while the engine swap it's self went quickly enough they kept bumping me to the back of the line meaning it took 6 weeks from when the vehicle was towed to them to when it left. The entire time I had to call them to get updates and when parts arrived or when they were even starting the work. I've know Mark and Chris for years, but this is unacceptable. It cost me $1,700 and 6 weeks to have the engine swapped. Keep in mind the engine was not part of the price mentioned above. If we add that in the price goes to about 4k. Time to find a new garage."

They are really accommodating, affordable, and overall very courteous and honest people. They worked with me every step of the way to get my car fixed and good parts in a timely manner. They are very generous and I really appreciate their mechanics who know what they are doing. Great place, gave me an amazing deal, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Roanoke area. 10 stars."
