Best Buns Bakery & Burgers

"Brand new to the area and people are so excited. It is becoming the main draw to this strip mall (known for Aidi and Planet Fitness). Mango salad was okay, fries were mediocre, but the burgers were excellent. Another location for donuts (which are good) and cupcakes. The seating area is bigger here than the Shirlington location. The staff are helpful to determine if they can accommodate food allergies. They also sell doggie cookies (hoping it be warm enough to use it's outdoor seating!) Looking forward to becoming a regular."

"One of my favorite breakfast places in Springfield for quick grab and go. Tons of baked goods , burgers, huge chicken biscuit sandwich. The hand cut fries are also thin and crispy. The burgers are similar to a smash burger although names are similar to five guys as well as topping options including grilled mushrooms and onions. The honey chicken biscuit was a slightly black pepper ish (which I liked)and very juicy dark meat. Overall excellent place for breakfast"

"This is my first visit to this new store. It was staffed and kept orders moving. The Cinnamon Raisin Roll has a generous number of raisins but lacks cinnamon. YES, REALLY LACKS CINNAMON. The breakfast sandwich was large, and the sausage was flavorful. You can make two meals out of it or save half for a late morning snack after your walk. Will return to check out other menu selections."

"When you order a bagel with cream cheese just manage your expectations. It is just a mostly sliced through bagel with a dollop of cream cheese packaged separately. While the bagel was soft it tasted rather ordinary. At least it was better than the stale/crunchy excuse that Dunkin Donuts tries to pass off as a cream cheese bagel. Note to owner/staff: Ask customers if they would like their cream cheese smeared within their bagel or let them know that you don’t offer that service. I have no complaints regarding the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was greeted upon entering and the restaurant is warm and inviting."

"Fresh croissants, tasty brekkie sandos and fast service. This place just opened and I was one of the first in & I have to say I hope they maintain their standards. You walk into the foyer and it’s separately warmed and welcoming as you enter. It’s very bright, clean and organized inside and ordering is straight forward. The lady who took my order was very pleasant but obviously still figuring out the register / payment system. My card failed a few times to be read by the reader but after some fumbling around it eventually worked. The hustle and bustle in the back was impressive - as there were maybe 10-15 folks quickly working to bake and assemble made to order sandwiches. The BEC breakfast sandwich was buttery and delicious and large enough for two to share. The muffin top was a favorite of my kid (it’d be great if they just sold the top on its own). The ham and cheese croissant was fresh and buttery once I warmed it up at home for 15 seconds in the microwave. The chai out latte was a little bland and lacking flavor for my taste compared to one similarly at Starbucks. They got me out of there quick, from time of order to walking out the door it was about 6.5 minutes. Much like Mike’s it’s obvious this place has higher standard than most bakeries in the area. I’ll definitely be back often. I can’t wait to try their burgers next!"
