"There are not enough stars to give this practice! I was impressed with the bustling office—always a good sign. The front office staff is very efficient and always pleasant—on the phone and in person. The check in for each appt was prompt and they managed the appointments very well—I had little to no waiting time before being escorted to my ‘chair’. While Dr. Backiel is the main dentist here, and she is VERY hands on, she has a team of dental professionals that are quintessentially that—professional AND personable (we shared stories and laughs). They are transparent and forthright about the procedures they perform—pros, cons with no surprises, and you are informed of exactly what is being done and when. I had a difficult decision to make and they were so very patient and compassionate while I worked through it—no pressure, just clear explanations. It certainly helped me move forward. And they don’t stop there…the after care for adjustments was amazing. Never a rush, they always listened, patiently performing the needed task at hand. The result: I finally have BEAUTIFUL teeth and my youthful smile. I couldn’t be happier. I certainly have been to a few dentists over the years, but this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. "I am very disappointed to have to write such a negative review. I’ve been a client here for over 4 years receiving amazing service & care. But in the past 6 months things have changed drastically. During my most recent filling, my face was cut with during the procedure. I noted it during check out & all I’ll got was a flimsy “sorry that happened”. Then 2 months after that botched filling my debit card was randomly charged 120 dollars. I called to inquire about this charge since no one spoke to me before taking my money. I was told because I signed a financial responsibility form they could just withdraw money at any time with no notice or communication. Unprofessional. Of course if I owe a balance, I am willing to pay but there is a reasonable expectation to be notified of the balance & when it will be taken. The receptionist claimed she would put a notice in my file for prior communication before any payments are authorized. Then just yesterday I was charged a 75 dollar no show fee for an appointment I cancelled via text 3 days in advance. I spoke to someone who was very argumentative about my canceled appointment & at no time during that telephone call was I informed about a charge. I called back today when I noticed the charge & was met with a “there’s nothing they can do about it”. No care, terrible communication & straight up unprofessionalism."
