"Not 1 but 2 member apps that do NOT work! That should be illegal in this age of tech. Nonstop marketing spam ($$$) but Highmark can't seem to produce proper tech for their members? Where is the money going? Insanely expensive healthcare but members can't even access their own accounts because the tech is non-existent."

"They say "collection notice" on all regular billing statements. Is this the direction medical insurance is heading? They mistakenly sent me an overpayment and 10 months later I got a "collection notice" threatening me I had 30 days to pay it back! We are forced to use this trash outfit through work."

"Such a garbage insurance company overall. Only insurance I've had that makes me wait exactly a month to fill a prescription I can't go without. You're either getting it the day you run out or going without. UPMC insurance let me get it around a week before running out that way you don't need to plan around your schedule to get your medicine the day you run out. Already filled out my insurance for next year and switching back to UPMC. Good riddance. And stop mailing me junk. Goes directly in the garbage."

"They don't respect physician's opinions. I have PPO plan and pay a high premium for it. My primary physician ordered labs as part of my preventive visit and clearly documented it on the clinic note; however, Highmark refused to pay for it even after appealing. It was not a lot of money, but it's their poor practice and the principles behind it."
