"Hidden gem of a cigar spot. Owner treats you like family, and always has a smile on her face. Prices are great and location can not get any better."
"Great store, wonderful proprietor, whom I respect BTW for the forbearance she shows in not using the 'Response from Owner' function from Google (which I wish Google would not provide at all to any vendor anywhere), so I feel it incumbent to take it upon myself as a resident of the general area who loves having this store available to address the only negative reviews I see regarding the shop and how it's run, viz a viz: smoking downstairs in the product and sales area: The seating area downstairs is NOT a lounge. If the proprietor allowed people to smoke there she wouldn't be a proprietor for very long - she would *immediately* be shut down by the Princeton Board of Health. It is a situation that all the small retailers throughout the state have to deal with unfortunately. In fact, there have been a number of petitions circulated in towns across the state (including Princeton) to make them totally tobacco free towns. Perhaps take a look at the general attitude towards pipe and cigar retailers in general in New Jersey. Indeed, the cigar tax in new Jersey is 400% higher than the weed tax, so try at least to appreciate the pressure that all our dear stick retailers have to endure instead of griping, and perhaps even help the situation by supporting retailers and lobbying organizations that make things better. To suggest going to Philly is patently absurd - out of NJ the whole country has a better attitude about the Freedom to Smoke, going outside state lines is at best an admission of failure on our parts as consumers and citizens, and at worst punishing the very people who are fighting the good fight for us."
"A Little Taste of Cuba, and Nicaragua as well, I can say based on personal experience. To walk into this store is to fill your senses not only with the aroma but the spirit of the puro, the legitimate pure cigar from its very origins, enhanced by the charm and knowledge of Maria. Muchas gracias!"
"Just visited Maria and her fantastic little store in Princeton for the first time with a good friend. Excellent experience from the time we walked in to the time we left. She has very reasonable prices and it’s a very friendly atmosphere. Maria is very knowledgeable and would highly recommend her shop as she has a fantastic selection! Will be returning!"
"After a hard day of work the only place to stop is “A Little Taste of Cuba”. The best selection in town, a great place to unwind and have great conversations. Maria has a first class shop with great service and products. Looking forward to lighting one with you."
