"I don't frequently leave reviews but felt I had to say something about the incredible food and staff at Irregardless. My partner and I came here for the first time during Winter Restaurant Week and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and everything we ate and drank was a home run. Getting to sample some excellent Virginia wines and learn more about area wineries was a bonus. Extremely thoughtful and well executed menu, lovely atmosphere, and just an overall wonderful experience – we will definitely be regular customers moving forward!"

"Ok, I’m not going to lie, I already didn’t love it because of the name…and I know they knew what they were doing but I still don’t love it haha, but I finally went to check it out and I am not a fan. The best way I can describe this place is that it must be haunted by cats. You know when there’s a place that’s been flipped…and it’s all bougie, but you knew what it was like before that?? It’s kind of like that but with cats…like it’s in the ventilation. You can smell it. Anyways, haunted cats aside, we each got a drink, an entrée, and we shared one appetizer and our bill was $130 and we left hungry…so, I would never go back there. Service was good, and there was one other couple in there on a Tuesday night, so the food came out almost immediately, but we should have just eaten somewhere else."

"The vibes here are so cozy! And the food and drinks are top notch! I started out with a margarita with local liquor and fresh ingredients. And a couple of light appetizers. For our main dishes my girlfriend and I split the pierogi and mushroom gnocchi - which were both amazing! To cap it off we had the caramel apple ice cream dessert. Splendid evening! Huge shoutout to our bartender, Cat!"

"Overall, a really lovely dining experience. Service was excellent, food had some highs and lows, and the decor and ambience (especially in the loft) was warm and welcoming. We did the prix fixe menu which offered a nice variety of items that evening. We were able to each sample a big baby oyster (solid), grilled octopus (superb), scallop schnitzel (short of the mark), and lamb ragu pappardelle (pedestrian). For our mains, there were choices between shrimp and grits (surprisingly bland), poussin (did not get to try), and short rib (tender but not flavorful enough). The pomegranate cheesecake dessert was fine but not memorable. Cocktails were solid. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try, but the food offerings would benefit from some tuning."
