"Saw an excellent production of Jake Heggie's Moby Dick, reinforcing the importance of regional companies introducing modern works with set designs that can travel to other medium sized houses. Beautiful venue but the staff and audience were atrocious. I would think twice before seeing a production at the Benedum: audience members come and go, socialize, snore, take phone calls. Staff were more interested in finding an empty seat to watch the show rather than assist and control audience."
