"We went 2 c Black Nativity. We enjoyed the show. The auditorium is beautiful acoustics were gr8"
"We went to see a production of Into the Woods. Our seats were easy to find and actually very comfortable. The sound was good if just a touch loud because we sat on the balcony level where the orchestra was."
"Beautiful theatre, a little on the small side, but a great place to showcase Pitt’s amazing theatre arts talents! The seats are comfortable and the first floor stage is big enough to be flexible for most productions. It truly is a beautiful theatre! Wonderful architecture! H2P!"
"Disappointing - they removed what WAS there which doesn't make any sense at all. My brother came all the way from MN to see the memorial and it was just GONE to be replaced with something "less" controversial. So sad."
"This place was an absolute disappointment for anyone interested in Stephen Foster. It looks and feels like an eighth grade presentation, with very few artifacts (if any) that actually belonged to Stephen Foster. A lot of the items are replicas of what he "might" have used or other items from the same time period but had no direct relationship to him. "Here is what an accordion from the 1800's looked like". The biggest absurdity of all was that they claim to have his wallet with his last few pennies and the note "dear friends and gentle hearts", except they only have a bad photo copy of a picture of the wallet. I asked a lady who works there and she said it was in a vault and she couldn't bring it out. Huh?? Why would you leave the best artifact out of the exhibit? They advertise it as if it's on display and it was one of the big reasons I came to the museum in the first place. Wouldn't you base your entire exhibit around the best artifact? Incredibly disappointing. Whoever designed this memorial should be ashamed. Please go ahead and close it. It's embarrassing. After leaving we decided to go to the cemetery and visit his grave. It was much more interesting."
