"I love the beers made by AleCraft brewery. There is a great variety of delicious beers. My favorites are the Crucible and the Fresh Pints of Belair. They have a great comfortable bar. It feels like home! I love this place!"
"Fun visit to Alecraft Brewery & Fox & Fern Cafe! Alecraft has a huge taproom and a full slate of craft beers. They also share their space with Fox & Fern, which serves excellent light fare (sandwiches, pizza, burgers etc) & coffee, tea & other nonalcoholic beverages—making it a very family friendly location. There’s ample dining space in the tap room but also a pet-friendly two-level outdoor eating space for warmer weather. You can also watch the Northern Central Railway’s scenic train go by or take a walk on the adjacent trail. (Got pix of the deck & the train but forgot pix of the food & drinks, but it all looked and tasted great.) Brunch is also served on Saturdays and Sundays. Live music some afternoons & evenings."
"Great place! They have a coffee place in house that is open thru later hours, so you get your caffeine fix during trivia! Drinks were good and my friends had some tasty food with generous portions. Bar seating is a bit limited, so come early on trivia nights!"
"Off the path! I’ll admit, I was a little unsure driving to this place, but it was great. You could probably fit the entire population of the town into the main room. ;) There’s a wide selection of beers. I had a sour based off an Arnold Palmer. It was incredible. They serve food & have a cafe inside as well. The bacon wrapped dates were fantastic. Seating is plentiful. The main room is huge. There’s a rooftop patio, outdoor seating, & a downstairs bar (service only on weekends, but open for seating). It appears they have plenty of entertainment as well. Someone was setting up Monday karaoke as we were leaving. Family friendly. Dogs can come, but they have to be outdoors."
"This place has a ton of potential but some kinks in service need ironed out. The crew is clearly there to work and not having any fun which is really a must in successful bar service. The beer we tried was great. Highly recommend feta fries - phenomenal. My friend got the chickpea sandwich which was good but difficult to eat as the chickpeas were not smashed in the salad. All their bread is yummy. The pot pie leaves much to be desired, though. Pretty sure it was canned chicken in the pot pie which I can't knock, but the flavours had not melded at all. The biscuits served were phenomenal. The Carolina slaw dog was good but not at all what I thought of as Carolina slaw. The horseradish mustard is by far the best I've had while the beer cheese is very mild and somewhat runny. I certainly will come again. Live entertainment was great, also."
