Glen Hollow Apartments

"Update 12/11/2023 - The situation has not improved. Christine Chadsey, Konover’s corporate admin handling the request, addressed me by incorrect pronouns for some bizarre reason. The management is making me fill out the same form again, and acquire another doctors letter in order to hear my request for reasonable accommodations. If you are elderly, neurodivergent, or disabled, don’t waste your time with these goons. — I have had ongoing communication issues with management since September regarding reasonable accommodations for my disability. Instead of being helped and provided an avenue for a solution, I feel like I have generally not been taken seriously, ignored at times, and demeaned in others. As of writing this review, they have “completed” an inspection of the doors causing me trouble, but nothing has changed. Despite asking for reasonable accommodations, I have had to go further out of my way to deliberately ask for someone to send me the appropriate form. You'd think it just be available online, or someone would have sent it to me as soon as I used the term "reasonable accommodations", but no - they're ableist as heck and make the disabled people jump through extra hoops. Other than that, this place is really hit or miss. I want to like it, but I've had such a hard time getting the help I need that I can't wait to get the heck out. Some of my horror stories include: Slamming doors all the time (that also shake the apartment), litter everywhere/chronically full dumpsters, and wildly inconsiderate neighbors. My favorites are all the people who don't clean up after their dogs, the package thieves, the person who impersonated me to steal a DoorDash order, one neighbor leaving their work boots out in the hallway for days making it smell like cheese, and one particularly special jerk who sets up a folding chair in front of a building entry and smokes cigars 2-3x a day everyday. Management will not respond to non-maintenance requests until you become a worse than a squeaky wheel. Maintenance requests are "completed", but the maintenance crew is just as hit or miss as the rest of this place. This place could serve as a stopgap if you’re desperate, but beware."

"I live at Glen hollow apartments. The place is very nice. Clean apartments upgrades are beautiful inside the office. Staff are very knowledgeable and kind."

"Mice. Called multiple times. Left multiple maintenance request. Nothing was done at all. Maintenance will put they’ve completed a task on paper and don’t follow up. But they are quick to send ppl to court or raise rent. The air in the building is so thick and muggy you have to ventilate your apartment day/night in every season. & The water smells really horrible. I wouldn’t move here unless your desperate."

"Horrendous Experience. A lot of mold in the apartment, lost lot of our belongings and nothing was done. maintance is a joke. Property manager Amanda is rude and absolutly no help not only apartment 722 others have the same problem and office know about it and nothing ever gets done, but yet they put complete in the worker oder to get ouy of actually doing something"

"I lived at Glen Hollow for 5 years. I absolutely love everything about this place. Maintenance is knowledgeable and very polite. The office staff is very responsive and pleasant all the time. The grounds are manicured. Convenient Food Pantry right next door. Location by 95 & Turnpike is wonderful. There were times were I locked myself out of my building and someone rushed right over to help me. I can’t express my gratitude enough for all that they have done for me when it came to having to extend my lease several days bc my new home wasn’t ready yet. The only reason I moved is because I ended up getting a house. Otherwise I would have been a lifer! Lol Neighbors are friendly and I always felt safe. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!! Thank you all for being so outstanding!"
