"While the apartments are nice, I would never suggest living here. I lived in the new section of Heritage Court for over a year. I constantly stopped in to say hi to the staff, contribute to donation drives and fun community contests. I even shared a decent amount of holiday cookies and goodies with them both during my stay and after. I had to break my lease to move for a new position in a new state. I worked with Jenna to settle up before I left. I got an additional bill from Carol after I left and I immediately asked for an itemized receipt and settled up. Nearly two years later I’m being hounded and threatened by collections. This is a huge surprise from me, especially since I have emails, bank statements and other proof. It seems as though things were never properly documented on their end and SURPRISE! The person that I dealt with is conveniently “no longer working for us”. The amount of stress, both emotionally and financially has been so incredibly terrible. They are disorganized in their record keeping, and I’m paying the price."
"We are so happy with our experience so far at Heritage Court. The staff has been so wonderful from the start with the application process and move in. Amber has been so responsive and kind with making our move in a smooth process. Our neighbors have been great, the community is quiet, the pool area is amazing and everyone is so friendly, the amenities are well worth a higher rent. The apartment itself is beautiful and perfect for our needs. We couldn’t be happier with living here and can definitely see ourselves here for a while!"
"The neighbors are amazing but that’s where the benefits of living here stop. Everyone employed by this organization has terrible communication skills and no one cares either. We stopped calling maintenance to fix things and just started doing it ourselves. They either don’t show up or take forever and then say there’s nothing wrong. The pool is never open (either due to fungus in the pool or no lifeguard on duty) and they rarely announce that to the community. You will definitely find out after schlepping your kids and all their pool floaties down there though because they’ll zip tie the gate. Building 508 has insufficient parking to meet the number of occupants in the building let alone the fact that people from other buildings use that lot. So they want you to park near the clubhouse and walk to your building with your groceries and kids. Think you won’t hear the train? You absolutely will. Oh and when you move out, be prepared to clean out your unit but you’ll also be charged a cleaning fee on your deposit without knowing"
"It's not hard to treat people with respect and common decency. Or just a little bit of HELPFUL knowledge. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional experience from the trash system, to construction at all hours, to the alarm in our building constantly going off, to lack of communication at all times. And most of the responses from the leasing office were that they "can not do anything". We get you can't, but it's unhelpful, disheartening, and disrespectful to treat people that way who are paying an arm and a leg to live in the middle of Ewing, New Jersey. There was also constant cigarette smoke in the hallways despite the 0 smoking policy, the pool was closed about 40% of the summer, and best of all our parking area was taken up by construction, and the leasing office did little to none to ensure everyone got a parking space. I hope Heritage does better in the future."
"The move in was a little awkward because it was a Sunday and I couldn't gain access until after 12pm. However Jena a and Ann were amazing from the start. Extremely helpful, they left no stone unturned. Welcomed me into my home even gave great tips on local eateries. My overall experience have been great for my first week. My unit is spacious, clean and comfortable!! It's quiet, my neighbors are very nice and welcoming. I recommend you come join the neighborhood!!"
