"I'm a local contractor who was in talks to perform a service for this complex. One of the officials at Pennrose, Randall Welliver, informed me I would have to purchase an additional insured policy to work for them. I informed Randall of what the cost would be, and he replied "we can work with that". I told him I'd purchase the policy and keep dates open for the service to be performed. After purchasing the policy and sending it to Randall, I reached out to him to confirm a date for the service. Randall proceeded to ignore me and I never received any further communication from him despite reaching out multiple times. I had to call into Crest Manor to be updated, only to be informed that they had chosen another contractor and had decided not to inform me. I'm not bothered by the fact that they went with another contractor - However, their decision to ignore me caused the policy to mature to the point where I am now forced to pay for a policy that will not be used, not to mention having left part of the schedule open specifically for this job and having to fill the days without warning. All Randall had to do to avoid this was contact me and inform me that they've decided to go with another company, but he could not be bothered to do that despite me reaching out multiple times. I would not recommend working with Crest Manor or any Pennrose affiliates."
